Sea Dogs Week Preview: Sea Dogs Return to TD Station for Two Weekend Games

November 21, 2022 - Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) - Saint John Sea Dogs News Release

Week in Review

Last weekend, the Sea Dogs hit the road to take on a back-to-back against the top team in the Maritimes, the Halifax Mooseheads.

The Sea Dogs put up good efforts in both games, but the Mooseheads offence, including league leading scorer Jordan Dumais, was able to beat the Sea Dogs both nights.

Sam-Luca Thifault scored his first QMJHL goal on Friday, firing a shot down the slot and past Mathis Rousseau.

Upcoming Games

Saturday, November 26th, the Sea Dogs will host the Val D'Or Foreurs as former Sea Dog and 2021-22 Memorial Cup Champion Nathan Drapeau makes his return to TD Station. Tickets are available HERE or at the TD Station Box Office.

The Sea Dogs are encouraging all fans to support the City of Saint John's second annual Holiday in a Box Campaign, to assist those who are the most vulnerable in our community and will be collecting donations before the game. Click HERE for more information and a list of suggested items.

Community Events

During their home game on November 12th, Sea Dogs fans brought in a good haul of non-perishable food items to donate to Ritchie's Food Drive, who were collecting on the concourse. Then, Monday, November 14th, the Sea Dogs took a trip to Superstore to pick up their own items to donate and dropped them off to help those in need in our community.

Thank you to Saint John Hyundai - I love my Hyundai - for providing transportation with the Sea Dogs new Champ Car! Keep an eye out for it at community events all season long!
