 Burlington Bees

Saturday's Game Postponed in Bowling Green

April 27, 2013 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Burlington Bees News Release

Saturday night's game between the Burlington Bees and Bowling Green Hot Rods has been postponed due to rain. The game will not be made up this season.

Rain, rain, go away, come back another day. The bad weather continues to follow Burlington around the Midwest, as the Bees will be rained out for the seventh time tonight. The Bees (7-11) were scheduled to play the final game of a three-game series against the Hot Rods (15-6).

The Bees ended a six-game losing streak last night with a 3-1 win over the Hot Rods. They will try and carry over the momentum from last night's win to their three-game series in Dayton. The Bees and Dragons will begin their series on Sunday at 2 p.m. eastern time. The time zone switch means the game will air at 1 p.m. in Burlington.

Alex Keudell (1-1, 2.60) will get the ball in game one in Dayton and will oppose Pedro Diaz (0-0, 3.68). You can catch all the action with Brandon Marcus on the call at gobees.com or News Radio 1490 KBUR beginning with the pre-game show at 12:40 p.m. CT.
