Sarnia Sting Defeats Windsor Spitfires 8-3 In Sarnia To Conclude The 2010 Spitfire Regular Season

Spitfires' Game Notes

- With last night's loss 8-3 to the Sting, this was the first time that the Spitfires lost two games in a row this season, as the Spitfires dropped a 4-3 overtime decision to the London Knights on Friday.

- The CHL's #3 ranked team won the season series against the Sting, with a 4-2 record in 6 contests.

- Greg Nemisz, Saverio Posa and Marc Cantin missed the game due to injury with Taylor Hall, Ryan Ellis, Adam Henrique, Cam Fowler, Mark Cundari, Harry Young, Eric Wellwood and Scott Timmins being held out of the lineup

- Zack Kassian scored two goals for the Spitfires and has four goals in five games since joining Windsor this season

2010 Windsor Spitfires "CODE RED" Playoff Run - Round One

Home - Thursday, March 18th vs. Erie Otters or Saginaw Spirit - 7:05 pm (If Saginaw gets one point in today's game against the Plymouth Whalers, Windsor will take on the Erie Otters in the first round of the playoffs, if Saginaw loses, Windsor will play the Spirit in the first round).

FANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR RED TO ALL SPITFIRE HOME GAMES IN SUPPORT OF THE TEAM'S "CODE RED" PLAYOFF THEME FOR THE 2010 POST-SEASON!
