Santa Cruz Warriors Fight Back to Beat G League Ignite, 108-100

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors (4-5) fought back to beat the G League Ignite (3-5), 108-100, on Friday night at Kaiser Permanente Arena in front of a sold-out crowd.
The Ignite took a 6-0 lead to start off the first quarter, however seven first quarter points by guard Ryan Rollins, on assignment from Golden State, helped the Warriors offense fight back to close the lead. A dunk from center James Wiseman, also on assignment from Golden State, gave the Warriors a one-point lead heading into the second quarter up 22-21. The contest remained close throughout the second quarter, however the Ignite pulled away to take a 54-48 lead heading into halftime.
The Ignite maintained the lead throughout the third quarter, however a late three from Rollins brought the Warriors to within three points with just a minute remaining, finishing the quarter down 80-77. The Warriors offense came alive early in the fourth quarter to lead by as many as twelve points, but the Ignite responded, closing the lead to one point with three minutes remaining in the contest. The game remained close in the final minutes, but back-to-back threes by forward Jerome Robinson, guard Dusty Hannahs and guard Lester Quinones secured the win for the Sea Dubs, 108-100.
Six Warriors had double digits for the Warriors tonight, with Robinson leading the way with 20 points and seven rebounds. Rollins finished the game with 19 points and six assists and Quinones finished the game with 17 points and six rebounds.
Guard Leonard Miller led the Ignite with 20 points and eight rebounds, and guard Eric Mika finished with a double-double, notching 16 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Marcus Graves closed out the night with 12 points and eight assists.
The Santa Cruz Warriors will face the Stockton Kings tomorrow night, Saturday, November 26 at 7 p.m. PST at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, CA.
