San Jose Giants Host FanFest and Exhibition on April 3

San Jose, CA - The San Jose Giants announced today festivities surrounding the club's 2018 FanFest on Tuesday, April 3. Fans and media have their first opportunity to meet the players, attend a special preseason press conference, watch an abbreviated interorganizational scrimmage between the San Jose Giants and the San Francisco Giants Triple-A Affiliate Sacramento River Cats and more. Gates open to the general public at 4:00 PM and at 1:45 PM for media and season ticket holders. The exhibition, which is scheduled to last five-innings, begins at 6:00 PM. The exhibition provides fans a first glimpse of emerging prospects headed to San Jose and a look at former San Jose Giants who are now on the doorstep of the Major Leagues in Sacramento.
San Jose Giants season ticket holders and members of the media are invited to attend an exclusive preseason press conference beginning at 2:00 PM, featuring members of the San Francisco Giants front office, San Jose Giants front office staff and select San Jose Giants players and coaches. All fans can meet the team and receive autographs from San Jose Giants players, coaches and Gigante, beginning at 4:00 PM in the City National Bank Futures Club.
"We are excited to welcome back our fans to Municipal Stadium for FanFest 2018 and for another great season of San Jose Giants baseball," said Mark Wilson, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. "The exhibition game will showcase talented players throughout the organization on the journey to becoming stars in San Francisco. This night is all about the fans, so I encourage everyone to come meet our team, support our Giants and help us kick off the year at FanFest."
FanFest not only offers a preview of the new club, but also a first look at some of Municipal Stadium's improvements and renovations. Additionally, as a part of the exhibition pregame ceremonies, the San Jose Giants and Operation: Care and Comfort will announce the 2018 Military Trading Card Set.
Season ticket owners and mini plan holders have free access to the 2018 FanFest and exhibition game. Otherwise, fans can purchase $5 General Admission tickets, $7 Box and Upper Luxury seats and $8 Luxury Box seats. Gates open to the public at 4:00 PM and at 1:45 PM for season ticket holders.
