San Jose SaberCats News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2003) â The San Jose SaberCats have re-launched their official website, www.sanjosesabercats.com, offering SaberCats fans a dynamic look into the team and the Arena Football League. The new-look site will continue to offer unprecedented coverage of the AFL's most successful team over the last four years as well as expanded coverage of league happenings.
"The new site is more in tune with the image of our team," said SaberCats Vice President Hank Stern. "Our fans will find it more informative and user friendly."
Leading up to the SaberCats 10th season in the AFL, the site will offer a historical look at the team. On-line voting for the club's All-Decade Team will start at the beginning of the new year and a âWhere are they Now' section, highlighting past performers, is also scheduled to be added.
Created and designed by Impression Design of Walnut Creek, Calif., the site will continue to offer fans the most comprehensive off-season and game day coverage of the team as well as the ability to easily purchase season tickets.
"The site is still a work in progress," noted Stern. "There will be many more exciting additions to the site as we get closer and into the new season."
The SaberCats open their 10th season in the Arena Football League in February. A network-TV sport, the AFL will celebrate its second season on NBC in 2004 with the SaberCats scheduled to be broadcast a total of seven times (six road, one home).
