Chicago Rush News Release

December 21, 2005 - The Chicago Rush announced today it has signed lineman Tango McCauley to a three-year contract

"Tango is an athletic lineman who can play multiple positions on the line," said Rush head coach Mike Hohensee. "He should help give up even more depth on an already solid line."

McCauley (6-4, 310, Alabama State) joins the Rush after spending the past three seasons playing for Saskatchewan and British Columbia in the CFL. He also spent time with the Dallas Cowboys in 2004.

In college, McCauley spent three seasons playing offensive tackle at Texas A & M before transferring to Alabama State where he was a 1-AA All-American selection as a senior.

The Chicago Rush kicks of its season January 29, at Colorado. The Rush home opener is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 3, against the New York Dragons. Fans interested in purchasing season or group tickets for 2006 can call the Rush at (877) RUSH-TIX or visit the team's Web site, www.chicagorush.com.
