
RubberDucks To Follow Directives Of GovâÂÂt, MiLB Regarding Coronavirus

(AKRON, OHIO) - The Akron RubberDucks are aware of the statements made today by Ohio Governor, Mike DeWine and will be compliant with all directives from that office as well as state, county, and local and health officials. While the RubberDucks understand that this is an ongoing situation with an indefinite time frame, we will follow the lead of Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball as further information becomes available.
The RubberDucks will follow the directives that Governor DeWine outlined today and will continue to ensure a safe environment for all. As information becomes more readily available, the RubberDucks will continue to update our fans through our website and social media channels throughout this developing situation.
"Safety is our highest concern-whether it's a fan, player or employee," said RubberDucks General Manager Jim Pfander, "and we will continue to take all the necessary steps to ensure that Canal Park is a safe environment for everyone full of affordable, family fun."
