
Royals Defeat Zephyrs, 10-4

Metairie, LA â Jed Hansen was 4-5 with 6 RBI to lead the Omaha Royals (16-18) to a 10 to 4 victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs (19-14) on Wednesday Night at Zephyr Field.
Hansen doubled in two runs in the second to stake Omaha to a 2-0 lead. New Orleans tied the game at 2 with two runs in the third on RBI base hits from David Matranga and Tripp Cromer. Aaron Guiel scored on a single from Morgan Burkhart in the sixth to put the Royals ahead for good.
Hansen had a RBI triple in the eighth and a three run triple in the ninth as all seven RBI's he has on the season have come against the Zephyrs. Jason Gilfillan (3-0) picked up the win tossing three scoreless innings of relief. Jonathan Johnson (2-3) suffered the loss pitching 6 1/3 innings on ten hits allowing five runs. The Zephyrs were led offensively by Matranga who was 3-5.
