The Express added four runs in the sixth and weathered Wily Mo Pena's gargantuan three-run homer in the seventh. Nick Green tacked on a sacrifice fly in the seventh before Joey Butler and Kata capped the scoring with solo homers in the eighth. Ryan Tucker battled through 5.2 innings for the win; he allowed two unearned runs on five hits and three walks with seven strikeouts, a season high.

ROUND ROCK AMONG TOP PCL TEAMS

The Express (69-49, .585) own the PCL's second-best record, one game behind Sacramento (70-48, .593), which has lost four straight. Round Rock is four-and-a-half games ahead of Omaha (64-53, .547) in the overall American Conference standings. Nine of 16 PCL teams are at or above .500, six of which are in the American Conference.

DIVISION STANDINGS UPDATE

Round Rock (69-49, .585) maintained its nine-game lead over Albuquerque (60-58, .508) in the American Southern Division standings.
