RoughRiders Assistant Coach Bobby Goepfert Returns to New York

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA. - RoughRiders General Manager and Head Coach Mark Carlson announced today that goalie coach Bobby Goepfert will return to his hometown of Long Island, New York to pursue hockey opportunities.
"We wish Bobby and his family all the best in their future endeavors. I enjoyed working with Bobby for two seasons, our staff and players did as well," stated Coach Carlson, "we thank Bobby for all his efforts. He did a great job with our goalies and made a positive impact in all areas of our program."
"I want to thank everybody in the Roughriders organization for an amazing last two years. From ownership to Coach and our entire staff, to every player, thank you for making a special place to me even more special! I am grateful for all the friendships I made over the last 2 years," said Bobby Goepfert.
The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are in their 22nd season with the Unites States Hockey League.
