Calgary, AB (August 3, 2005) - Jason Wulder, a born and bred Calgarian, continues to lead the scoring race in the Western Lacrosse Association.

The veteran, who stars for the Roughnecks in the National Lacrosse League during the winter, has registered 88 points (40g, 48a) in 18 games for Coquitlam.

His nearest rival, Kevin Olson of Burnaby, lags 14 points behind.

Seven Roughnecks players are among the WLA's top 25 scorers.

Kevin Dostie, Nanaimo, lies fourth with 70 points (31g, 39a); assistant Riggers skipper Kaleb Toth, also Nanaimo, is eighth with 57 points (25g, 32a), while Calgary's other alternate captain, Kyle Goundrey, of Maple Ridge, is 12th with 54 points (23g, 31a).

Another Coquitlam player, Jesse Phillips, is in 17th spot with 49 points (21g, 28a); Lewis Ratcliff, Victoria, is 21th with 44 points (22g, 22a) in just 10 games, while Roughnecks leader Tracey Kelusky, also of Coquitlam, holds the 25th spot with 42 points (19g, 23a) in only nine games.

Coquitlam currently tops the WLA with 27 points, but Victoria, which has a game in hand, is just one point behind.

The sole member of the Roughnecks playing in the Ontario Lacrosse Association this summer, Kyle Neufeld, is third in scoring for St. Catherine's with 38 points (15g, 23a).
