Romell Quioto Selected by Honduras

MONTREAL - CF Montréal striker Romell Quioto was selected by Honduras to take part in the Concacaf Nations League semifinal on Thursday, June 3, against USA, at 7:30pm, at Empower Field at Mile High, in Denver, Colorado.
The other semifinal will see Mexico take on Costa Rica. The two winners will play the final on Sunday, June 6, at 9pm, while the other two countries will play in the third place match the same day, at 6:30pm.
Quioto has scored one goal and added three assists in seven games this season. In 2020, the Honduran striker was named CF Montréal's Most Valuable Player after having his best MLS season with eight goals and six assists in 19 games, including 17 starts. In 98 MLS games, including 71 starts, he has scored 24 goals and tallied 26 assists.
With Honduras, Quioto has scored eight goals in 47 games. His last game with the national team was on June 26, 2019, in the 2019 Gold Cup.
