Roger Shannon Released as the Director of Hockey Operations for the Wildcats

April 16, 2018 - Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) - Moncton Wildcats News Release

Moncton - The Moncton Wildcats announced today that Roger Shannon has been released as the Director of Hockey Operations.

"I want to thank Roger for his contributions to the team for the past five years and wish him best of luck in his future endeavours," said Robert K. Irving, President of the Moncton Wildcats.

Shannon spent four seasons with the Moncton Wildcats as Director of Hockey Operations. He was previously Assistant Director of Hockey Operations, Director of Scouting and Player Development for one season.

Ritchie Thibeau will be the interim Director of Hockey Operations as a search is conducted for a replacement.

Thibeau has been Assistant Director of Hockey of Operations and Head Scout for the Moncton Wildcats for the past two seasons. He was also a Scout with the NHL's Calgary Flames for 12 years.
