
Rocha joins Silver Hawks

South Bend - The Arizona Diamondbacks have activated and placed Angel Rocha (LHP) on the roster of the South Bend Silver Hawks (Midwest League) effective immediately.
Rocha is making his third stop in South Bend, with prior tours occurring in 2004 and 2005.
In 2004, the southpaw started nine games for the Hawks, winning two-of-five decisions with South Bend after being promoted from Yakima (Northwest League).
One year later, Rocha started the season in South Bend, going 2-1, with an ERA of 6.98 in 13 games, including nine starts.
Rocha's addition increases the number of pitchers on the Silver Hawks roster to 13.
Rocha will wear jersey number 20.
