Rizk, Team Canada Fourth in International Tourney

The Czech Republic's U-18 team handed Team Canada defeat in the International Ice Hockey Federation's U-18 tournament Bronze medal game in Belarus Sunday. Team Canada's 3-2 loss means they finished the tourney 4-3. Spirit forward Jean-Michel Rizk was an associate captain on the team. He had two goals and an assist and was +2.
Team USA lost the gold medal game to Team Russia 3-2 Sunday. Three Saginaw Spirit draft picks played for Team USA and will return home with silver. Team USA finished the tournament 5-1. Spirit 2003 draft pick, forward Phil Kessel, had seven goals and three assists and was +3. 2002 draft pick Kevin Porter had two goals, six assists and 2002 draft pick Jason DeSantis had a goal for team USA.
