Rivermen Prepare for Season of Giving

Peoria, IL - The Peoria Rivermen are excited to announce the team's community appearance calendar for the month of December. The Rivermen will kick off their Holiday appearance calendar with the unloading of the CityLink Stuff-A-Bus at Peoria's Friendship House December 4 from 10 AM until noon.
Rivermen players and staff will participate in the Salvation Army's Red Stocking Party at the Peoria Civic Center Exhibit Hall A December 11 from 5-8 PM, and will assist the Salvation Army with Toy Shop distribution December 18, from 2-4 PM at 2903 W Nebraska Avenue in Peoria.
Peoria will have players visiting the Children's Hospital of Illinois December 19 from 2-4 PM, and any media wishing to attend are asked to contact Katie Pogeman in advance at (309) 680-3791. The Rivermen are scheduled to return to action this Friday and Saturday night in Fayetteville, NC against the Marksmen before returning to Carver Arena for home games December 8 & 9. December 8 will be Peoria's Jimmy Buffett Night presented by Easley Winery and Reggae Wines, with special jerseys worn by the Rivermen and auctioned off postgame. Peoria will also hold their annual Teddy Bear Toss December 8, with all stuffed animals thrown on the ice after the first Rivermen goal donated to local charities. Tickets to all of Peoria's remaining 2018-19 home games are available by calling the team at (309)-676-1040.
Single-game, group and season tickets for Peoria's 37th season of professional hockey presented by Midwest Orthopaedic Center are on sale at the Toyota Box Office in the Peoria Civic Center, or by phone at the Rivermen office, located at 201 S.W.
