
River Bandits and Bees Will Open Series Thursday Night

Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
The Quad Cities River Bandits' series opener against the Burlington Bees has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Community Field in Burlington, Iowa.
The game will be the first of the season between the two teams after Wednesday's game was rained out in Burlington. Wednesday's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader of two seven-inning games beginning Friday at 5:30 p.m.
Right-handers Todd McInnis (2-0) and Sean Murphy (2-1), originally scheduled to pitch Wednesday for Quad Cities (13-12) and Burlington (12-12), respectively, are now scheduled to start Thursday night.
UP NEXT: The River Bandits return home Saturday, May 5, for a matchup with the Peoria Chiefs as part of the Rivertown Showdown and Championship Weekend. Promotions include a Championship Rally Towel Giveaway presented by Peoria Charter, as well as a Cinco de Mayo celebration. The Cardinals' World Series trophy will also be on display.
