Rhino Hockey Kicks off Tomorrow

A new era of El Paso hockey begins on Friday night as the Rhinos' NAHL team plays its first ever home game! On Friday, Oct. 15 and Saturday, Oct. 16 at 7 pm, the Odessa Jackalopes, who currently lead the South Division with six wins and three losses, will travel to El Paso for a two-game series. The NAHL team's four-game home stretch continues on Oct. 22 and 23 when the Rhinos host the Corpus Christi Ice Rays.

The Rhinos' NA3HL will also take home ice for the first time this season in October. On Thursday, Oct. 28, Friday, Oct. 29, and Saturday, Oct. 30 El Paso will play a three-game series against the Oklahoma City Ice Hawks. The 2021-22 season will also be the first season in which El Paso has two junior A hockey teams playing in two different leagues.

The three consecutive series will include promotions like "Jersey Off Our Backs" where fans can win game-worn jerseys right off players' backs, the Sol Scorer of the Game that gives game attendees the chance to purchase $2 draft beer, the Rhino t-shirt cannon, Random Rhino Giveaway and more.

The puck drops at 7 pm on Oct. 15-16, Oct. 22-23, and Oct. 28-30 at the El Paso County Events Center.
