Registration for Isotopes clinics starts Friday

The Albuquerque Isotopes will host four skills clinics this summer including; Baseball 101 for Women Presented by Lovelace - exclusively for girls and women 15 years and up, two Youth Skills Clinics - open to kids 5-15 years of age, and new this season a Coaching Clinic open to all area baseball or softball coaches. Registration for all four clinics begins Friday, March 31.
Baseball 101 for Women presented by Lovelace is an interactive and educational event designed to help women learn the fundamentals of baseball. The clinic is open to girls and women ages 15 and up. All skill levels are invited to take part and no prior knowledge of the game is needed to participate. The clinic begins with a classroom session and presentations before participants put their new knowledge to the test with interactive drills. A post-clinic lunch will be provided by Dion's Pizza.
Youth Skills Clinics are open to kids 5-15 years of age. Kids will rotate through three stations including hitting, pitching, and fielding. An autograph session will follow the clinic and all participants will be treated to a post-clinic lunch courtesy of Sonic Drive In.
A new addition to the Isotopes clinics is the Coaching Clinic. This clinic is designed for all area baseball and/or softball coaches from little league to high school levels. It will include instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, base running and injury prevention and treatment. The clinic will be led by Isotopes Manager Dean Treanor, Hitting Coach Steve Phillips, Pitching Coach Tom Brown, and Trainer Steve Miller.
Clinic dates and times are as follows:
Baseball 101 for Women, Saturday, May 6 9:00 am - 12:30 pm $40 per person
Youth Skills Clinic #1, Saturday, June 10 Noon - 3:00 pm $50 per person
Youth Skills Clinic #2, Saturday, July 15 Noon - 3:00 pm $50 per person
Coaching Clinic, Saturday, July 29 9:00 am - 12:30 pm $60 per person
In addition to instruction from Isotopes players and coaches, each participant will receive a post-clinic lunch, Isotopes merchandise, and (2) Reserved Level Seat Vouchers to any non-restricted home game. To register, please come to the Isotopes Administrative Office located on the second floor of Isotopes Park. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
