Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks News Release
FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have re-signed OF Tydus Meadows, the Northern League club announced today. Meadows will be in uniform tonight when the RedHawks open a three-game series against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at CanWest Global Park in Winnipeg.
Meadows, 29, was released by the RedHawks in a salary cap move on Friday, but after OF Jon Weber was signed by the Texas Rangers organization RedHawks manager Doug Simunic began talks with Meadows to bring him back to the team.
Meadows was batting .156 in with a double, five RBIs and ten runs scored in 14 games for the RedHawks before being released. He spent the 2006 season with the Jacksonville Suns of the Southern League (AA) and the Las Vegas 51's of the Pacific Coast League (AAA), both minor league affiliates of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
