RedHawks Continue against Aces-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks continue an eight-game homestand with game two in a four-game series against Reno Aces tonight at 7:05 p.m...This is the only series between the teams in 2011...Oklahoma City enter Wednesday in fourth place in the American Southern division, 17.0 games behind first place Round Rock, and 5.0 games behind third place New Orleans...The Reno Aces are first place in the Pacific Northern Division, 4.5 games ahead of second place Tacoma...Tacoma and Reno meet head-to-head in the next series...

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- RH Lucas Harrell (6GS, 3-1, 2.67) makes his seventh start in the Astros organization tonight...Harrell was an Astros waiver claim from the White Sox just prior to the All-Star Break...Last time out, Harrell allowed two runs and 11 hits in seven innings in a winning decision against Colorado Springs...Gaby Hernandez (11GS, 4-5, 6.82) makes the start tonight for Reno...Hernandez has three losing decisions over his last four starts, including a five-run, seven-hit outing in 5.1 innings at New Orleans on August 12...

Last Game: August 16- Oklahoma City RedHawks 5, Reno Aces 4-- Robinson Cancel drove in a run in each of his final two at-bats, including the game-winning single in the ninth inning for a 5-4 Oklahoma City win over the Reno Aces before 3,682 Tuesday night at RedHawks Field at Bricktown...Fernando Abad (2-3) took the relief win with two-thirds of an inning...Ryan Cook (0-1) blew his first save and took the loss with a two-run ninth inning...Cook had two strikes with two out in a one-run lead in the ninth inning when a wild pitch scored the tying run from third...Cook later walked two before giving up the walk-off single...Three RedHawks, Hernandez, Cancel and Navarro, hat two hits in the game...J.A. Happ did not factor in the decision, giving up four runs, three earned, with six hits in five innings of work...

Schafer Joins RedHawks on Rehab-- OF Jordan Schafer joins the Oklahoma City RedHawks on a Major League rehabilitation assignment, his first game action since being traded from the Atlanta Braves in the Michael Bourn deal on July 31...Schafer was placed on the 15-day DL July 20 with a left middle finger joint injury...Schafer hit batting practice yesterday in Houston, and was cleared to play...

Hernandez Streak Rolls On-- Anderson Hernandez increased his hitting streak to 14 games with a two-hit game last night...Eight of the 14 games have been multi-hit games...Robinson Cancel recorded the RedHawks' longest hit streak in 2011, posting a 17-game streak May 5-26...Reno's Tony Abreu hit safely in 24 straight games June 4-July 6, the longest streak in the PCL in 2011...The PCL record for consecutive games batted safely in a single season is 61 by Joe DiMaggio of San Francisco May 28-July 25, 1933...

Happ In Second Appearance-- J.A. Happ made his second appearance with Oklahoma City last night, giving up four runs, three earned, and six hits in 5.0 innings...Happ walked three with five strikeouts while dealing 108 pitches (61 strikes)...In two appearances with OKC, Happ is 0-0 with a 2.45 ERA, 6 BB and 10 SO...

Manzella Returns for Reno-- Infielder Tommy Manzella returns to Oklahoma City, but on the Reno Aces roster after the Diamondbacks claimed Manzella off waivers on August 11...In the series opener last night, Manzella was 0x3 with a walk...Manzella was designated for assignment by the Astros to make room on the 40-man roster for pitcher Henry Sosa...With OKC in 2011, Manzella played in 109 games with a .230 (83x361) average, 7 HR, 48 RBI and 116 strikeouts...

Double Play Defense-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks lead the Pacific Coast League lead with 150 double plays...The next-closest team is Salt Lake with 146 double plays...Iowa is last in the PCL with 97 twin-killings...
