Redbirds Announce Weekly Promotions for 2019; Single-Game Tickets on Sale Tomorrow

MEMPHIS, Tennessee - The two-time defending Pacific Coast League champion and 2018 Triple-A National Champion Memphis Redbirds have announced a weekly promotional schedule for the upcoming 2019 season, with single-game tickets for the season going on sale tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.

Individual tickets for the March 25 "Battle of the Birds" exhibition game against the St. Louis Cardinals, presented by Big Cypress Lodge, are also on sale tomorrow morning at 10:00. While supplies last until 11:59 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, a Field Box, Dugout, or Club Level "Battle of the Birds" ticket purchase includes Redbirds Opening Night on April 4 for free.

Fans will enjoy returning favorites and new weekly series alike, such as:

- Música Mondays

- Throwback Thursdays presented by Polk's Meat Products featuring the Memphis Chicks, $2 Thirsty Thursday beers, and $1 Polk's hot dogs

- All-You-Can-Eat Nights on Fridays

- Terminix Saturday Fireworks Shows

- Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sundays and Kids Run the Bases

Música Mondays

Starting in June, the Redbirds will take the field as the Memphis Música each Monday home game as part of Minor League Baseball's "Copa de la Diversión" series. On June 17, July 1, Aug. 5, and Aug. 19, fans will enjoy authentic food, drinks, and entertainment while watching the Música at AutoZone Park. Debuting last season, the "Memphis Música" brand name emphasizes how music is a vibrant part of both Hispanic culture and the culture of Memphis. From celebrations to gatherings to everyday life, "the universal language" is a common thread between the expanding Hispanic community and "The Birthplace of Rock and Roll."

Throwback Thursdays presented by Polk's Meat Products featuring the Memphis Chicks, $2 Thirsty Thursday beers, and $1 Polk's hot dogs

All-You-Can-Eat Nights on Fridays

The Redbirds' highly-popular All-You-Can-Eat Nights move to Fridays in 2019. With the purchase of a specialty ticket, fans can enjoy a two-hour all-you-can-eat buffet featuring a special entree, hot dogs, sides, and two drinks (soft drinks or water) per person. Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sundays and Kids Run the Bases

Sundays are Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sundays, featuring free ice cream upon entering to kids 12 and under, and kids can run the bases after the game just like the pros. To purchase tickets, visit www.memphisredbirds.com/icecream.
