Real Salt Lake and JetBlue in Search of Club's Biggest Supporter

SANDY, Utah (Monday, August 15, 2011) - Real Salt Lake and JetBlue - the Official Airline of Real Salt Lake - are on a mission to find the most dedicated fan of the Claret-and-Cobalt through the newly-announced JetBlue "Fan for Life" Contest.

Through Friday, Sept. 30, RSL fans are encouraged to submit videos demonstrating why they are the biggest, loudest and most dedicated supporter of Utah's Major League Soccer side. The contest winner will secure two lower bowl season tickets for Real Salt Lake's 2012-2014 seasons - and the many benefits that go along with being an RSL "Fan for Life" season ticket holder - in addition to round-trip travel for two to any JetBlue destination in the United States.

Once the registration period has ended and all submissions have been received, Real Salt Lake representatives will pick the top five entries and submit them to JetBlue to determine final winner. The "Fan for Life" Contest winner will be announced at halftime during Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, Oct. 22, when Real Salt Lake will host the Portland Timbers at Rio Tinto Stadium (7:00 p.m. MT kickoff) in both teams' 2011 MLS regular season finale.

Entrants are asked to print off the JetBlue 'Fan for Life' Contest registration form and submit the completed form along with their video. Submissions can be turned into the RSL Front Office in person by the Sept. 30 deadline, while mailed submissions must be post-marked by the Sept. 30 deadline and received at the RSL offices by Saturday, Oct. 8. Video entries must be submitted in English language, must not contain any music and must be submitted by DVD. The video file must be no larger than forty megabytes (40 mb) in size, no longer than 3 minutes in length, and must be in one of the following formats:

QuickTime (.mov)

Windows Media Video (.wmv)

Audio Interleave Video (.avi)

Moving Pictures Expert Group (.mpeg)

MP4 format (.mp4)

By submitting a completed entry form and video as directed, each fan will receive one (1) entry in the sweepstakes. Any submissions judged inappropriate by Real Salt Lake and JetBlue due to foul language or other inappropriate conduct will not be considered.
