RazorSharks Travel To Vermont For Regular Season Finale

(Rochester, NY) . . . Thursday April 8th, the Rochester RazorSharks will travel to Vermont for their second meeting with the Frost Heaves.

The RazorSharks last played Vermont February 6th, losing 105-99. Troy Jackson, who is no longer with the Frost Heaves, hit nine three pointers and scored 34 points. Keith Friel led Rochester with 16.

March 27th at the Blue Cross Arena, the RazorSharks defeated the Manchester Millrats (6-14) 117-107 and clinched a spot in the PBL playoffs. 2010 PBL All-Star selection, Jerice Crouch scored 24 points in the victory.

Vermont hosted the Halifax Rainmen on April 2nd, winning 107-98. Dwuan Rice led the Frost Heaves with 20 points. Marshall Brown is Vermont's leading scorer with 17.1 points per game. Jawan Bailey (14.1 ppg) and Rice (12.7 ppg) are also top performers for the Frost Heaves (11-7).

Keith Friel is the PBL's 14th leading scorer with 16.7 points per game. Jerice Crouch is 7th in steals with 1.7 per game and 5th in assists with 5.7. Marlin Johnson leads the league in steals with 2.7 per game and is also 9th in rebounds with 8.1.

Because of the expulsion of the Puerto Rico Capitanes from the league, the RazorSharks (14-4) are now the second seeded team in the PBL. If they remain in that position, they would face the third seeded team in the first round of the playoffs, which is currently the Halifax Rainmen (12-7). The playoff schedule will be released after the conclusion of the regular season.
