Rattlers Add Two More Rookies

Phoenix, AZ -The Arizona Rattlers have added two more players to their growing 2004 roster. The team announced the signing of WR/LB Ryan Dennard (6-3, 215, Arizona State) and OS Joey Getherall (5-7, 175, Notre Dame). Terms of the deals were not announced.
Dennard came to training camp with the Rattlers in 2003. He was one of the final cuts leading up to last season's opening day. His final season with the Sun Devils was 2001.
Getherall will bring his speed to the Rattlers, having played Wide Receiver and Kick Returner for the Fighting Irish. Getherall made 74 catches for 1, 059 yards and eight touchdowns for Notre Dame during his four-year career (1997-2000). He also returned 49 punts for 598 yards and two scores.
The Rattlers have now filled 34 of their 37 spots on their roster for training camp. The new players for 2004 include OS Siaha Burley (from Los Angeles), OL/DL Kelvin Ingram (from Carolina), and WR/DB Mike Bush (rookie from Washington State), to go along with established veterans Sherdrick Bonner, Hunkie Cooper, and Randy Gatewood.
