Rapids To Take on Bermuda National Team This Friday

COMMERCE CITY, CO (Monday, March 10, 2008) - The Colorado Rapids announced today that they will be taking on the Bermuda National Team at the National Sports Center in Bermuda this Friday, March 14 at 5 p.m. MT.

This will be the Rapids' third trip of the preseason, with the club having already trained in Florida and London.

This game will be the last international match of the Rapids' preseason, in advance of their final exhibition game, which will be played against the Chicago Fire in Jackson, Mississippi on March 23.

Colorado has posted a 3-1-3 record so far during their 2008 preseason.

The Bermuda National Team will use this game to prepare for the return leg of their World Cup Qualifying tie against the Cayman Islands on March 30. The two teams fought to a 1-1 draw in Bermuda during the first leg.

The Rapids will be travelling with an 18-man roster for this trip; the remainder of the squad will return to daily training sessions at Dick's Sporting Goods Park until the club departs for Mississippi next weekend.
