PEORIA, Ill. - Jeff Taffe extended his scoring streak to five games, however his lone goal was not enough to keep the Rampage from feeling the love as the Peoria Rivermen snapped San Antonio's undefeated streak from extending to five games with a 3-1 win at Carver Arena on Valentine's Day.

The Rampage had been unbeaten in regulation (3-0-0-1) in their last four games and won five of their last seven (5-1-0-1).

Taffe tied the game at 1-1 just 1:33 into the second period on a 4-on-3 power-play opportunity redirecting a shot at the left circle from Keith Yandle. It was Taffe's 18th goal of the season.

Defenseman Jamie Rivers broke the 1-1 tie mid way through the second to capture his first goal of the season and eventually record the game-winning goal.

Peoria's Konstantin Zakharov fed Charles Linglet the insurance goal at 9:03 in the third period. Both had connected earlier for the game's first goal.
