
Rabb Named to USA February 2020 Americup Qualifying Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Ivan Rabb of the Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, was named to the 12-man roster for the February 2020 USA AmeriCup Qualifying Team as announced by USA Basketball Wednesday afternoon.
In Rabb's third professional season, his first with the Westchester Knicks, the 6'10, 210-pound forward is averaging a double-double comprised of 15.5 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. His line also includes a 53.2-percent shooting clip, 2.5 helpers per game and 1.3 blocks per game (slots second on the team).
The California native leads the Knicks with 15 double-doubles on the season and has paced Westchester on the glass on 20 occasions. At College Park (1/2), Rabb tied the franchise record hauling 20 boards. Scoring the ball, Rabb's career-high stands at 33 points, notched at Iowa (2/4).
Guided by Mike Fratello, Rabb will be joined by Jaylen Adams (Wisconsin Herd), Justin Anderson (Long Island Nets), Cody Demps (Stockton Kings), Kyle Fogg (Beijing Royal Fighters, China), Abdul Gaddy (Oklahoma City Blue), Devon Hall (Oklahoma City Blue), Jalen Jones (Capital City Go-Go), J.P.âMacura (Canton Charge), Eric Mika (Stockton Kings), Levi Randolph (Canton Charge) and James Webb (Iowa Wolves).
Rabb becomes the fourth Westchester Knick to compete in the Qualifiers. John Jenkins (2018) and Stephen Zimmerman (2019) represented USA Basketball while Xavier Rathan-Mayes (2017) represented Canada.
The USA team will train Feb. 14-22 with a rest day in between, before playing a pair of games in the February FIBA AmeriCup Qualifying window. Both games will feature Puerto Rico as an opponent, first on February 20 at 7 PM ET in San Juan and the second, February 23 at 3 PM ET at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC The full AmeriCup Qualifying schedule is available at https://www.usab.com/mens/americup/game-schedule.aspx.
NBA All-Star Break allots the Knicks time off before their next game, Wednesday, February 19 at Raptors 905.
