Quad City Storm Signs Bettendorf's Nicola Levesque
Quad City Storm Head Coach Dave Pszenyczny announces an another addition to the inaugural Quad City Storm team.
The Trois-Rivieres native and current Bettendorf resident started his professional career in 2014 with the Danville Dashers/Steel City Warriors of the FHL and playing games with the Huntsville Havoc of the SPHL.
Most recently Levesque aided the Watertown Wolves in winning the FHL championship. Levesque had 3 goals and 11 assists in 10 games last season with the Wolves; he also captained the Climatisation Cloutier of the LHSAAAQ in Quebec, producing 8 goals, 9 assists in 21 games. Levesque's entire career totals in the LSAAAQ: 39 goals and 39 assists in 68 games.
Levesque stands at 6'2" and weighs in at 205 pounds and has proven he's a physical player who stands up for his team. Local fans will recognize and appreciate his involvement with the Quad City hockey community.
Coach Chezy said, "Nic is a gritty winger who likes to get into the dirty areas." "We are excited about how the line up is coming together,"he added.
