Publix Field to Host FCSAA State Baseball Tournament May 11-15

Lakeland, FL - Some of the best baseball players in the state of Florida will be in Lakeland May 11-15 as Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium hosts the 2018 Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) State Tournament.
The tournament begins on Friday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m. as State College of Florida (40-8), currently the #1 ranked team in the state and #7 in the country, takes on Tallahassee (36-16). The action continues at 1:00 p.m. when Broward (28-23) takes on Central Florida (32-20-1). At 4:00 p.m. Chipola (31-17), the defending National Champions and currently ranked #3 in the state and #13 in the country battles Miami Dade (32-15). The final game of day one has Santa Fe (40-11), currently ranked #2 in the state and #6 in the country, taking on Hillsborough (35-13) at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets to the FCSAA tournament will be available as follows:
Tournament Pass - $25
Daily Pass - $10 ($9 for children 6-12)
Championship Game Ticket Only - $5
Children 5 and under are free
Parking is free
The winner of the tournament will advance to the National Junior College Activities Association (JUCO) 60th Annual World Series to be held in Grand Junction, Colorado at Sam Suplizio Field May 26 - June 2.
