THIERRY HENRY, Head coach - Montreal Impact
About the team's third preseason game
"I think it's a step in the right direction. Before Nani's goal, we had control of the game. We were playing well and we were finding each other between the lines. It was a little more difficult for us in the final third, but we managed to settle into their half a few times and hold onto the ball. It was a little more difficult after their goal. We were a little better in the second half. The guys that came on did well and we created some good chances, including Ballou's one-on-one and Urruti's post. In general, we're progressing. It would have been better to win, but I'm happy with the chances we created to score."
SAMUEL PIETTE, Midfielder - Montreal Impact
About the team's chances throughout the game
"We had a few chances, including Saphir who saw his shot blocked only a meter from the goal and Maxi who does all the work before hitting the post. We still need to create more. I think that defensively, despite having to work on some things, we allowed nothing but the goal off the freekick. Our automatisms offensively are getting better and our players are showing what they can do. It's important in the way we want to play."
JORGE CORRALES, Defender - Montreal Impact
About the differences with the last preseason game
"I think there were a lot of differences in our game compared to last Wednesday. We work very hard in training, and the coaching staff is very clear with what they want us to do. I think we expressed what we can do through 90 minutes, and we looked prepared. We have time now to reassess and dwell on the opportunities we missed tonight, and get ready for the season, starting with the Champions League."
