Stockton Ports News Release

The Stockton Ports earned their second straight victory on Thursday night, beating the Visalia Rawhide 5-2. In the process, the Ports handed highly touted Diamondbacks prospect, Trevor Bauer several firsts in his professional career.

The Ports began the night of Bauer firsts when Mitch LeVier hit a towering two-run shot to right-center field. This accounted for both Bauer's first home run allowed and first earned runs of his professional career. The runs would also be enough to hand Bauer his first professional decision, a loss. The Ports would grind out three more runs off Visalia relievers.

Jacob Brown earned the win for the Ports while closer Jose Guzman picked up his 18th save of the season. The Ports look to extend their win streak to three as AJ Griffin takes the mound for the Ports, facing off against Diogenes Rosario for the Rawhide at 7:05 p.m.
