Trenton Thunder News Release
(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced Saturday that left-handed pitcher Josh Romanski has been activated from the team's disabled list. To make room, right-hander Ryan Flannery has been placed back on the DL with left knee bursitis.
Romanski had been out since April 20th with a blister on his pitching hand and missed 98 total games. He is expected to join the team's bullpen tonight for the game at Bowie. In five rehab appearances at Short-Season Staten Island, Romanski did not allow on earned run in seven innings of work. Flannery has pitched only once since July 8th and now makes his second trip to the DL since.
