Spokane Shock News Release
Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that OL Chris Pino has been added to the 2011 roster. In other roster moves, Spokane placed WR Greg Orton and Ben Ossai on Other League Exempt. Orton has signed with the UFL's Omaha Nighthawks while Ossai signed with UFL defending champion Las Vegas Locomotives.
Pino, 6-5 320, was a member of the Shock last season until he signed with the CFL's Montreal Alouettes midway through the season. With Pino on the roster, the Alouettes won the 2010 Grey Cup Championship.
"Last season, Pino proved once again he is a talented player," Head Coach Rob Keefe said. "When you combine his athleticism with his AFL and now CFL experience you have a skilled player. We are happy to add Chris back on our roster."
The Shock travel to Arizona to take on the Rattlers this Saturday at 7 PM. Live action of the game will be carried on 700 ESPN and on KSKN-22. Next week, the Shock will host the Utah Blaze on July 9th for the Joe Albi Stadium Summer Classic. Tickets for the first-ever Arena Football game at Joe Albi are available now and can be purchased through TicketsWest.
