Philip McRae and John Carlson Named to Team USA Roster

London Knights Left Winger Philip McRae along with 2008 2nd Round Pick John Carlson have been selected to participate in the 2008 US National Junior Evaluation Camp in Lake Placid, New York. The camp will be held between August 1-9, 2008 and features 53 players from across the USA. McRae, 18 will begin his 3rd season in the OHL this fall after being the London Knights 1st Round Pick at the 2006 Ontario Hockey League Draft. He is a native of Chesterfield, Missouri and now lives in London, Ontario. Carlson, 18 a defenceman was selected by the London Knights in the 2nd Round of the 2008 Ontario Hockey League Draft and signed with the London Knights for the 2008-2009 season on June 2, 2008. He is a native of Colonia, New Jersey. Both McRae and Carlson will attend the upcoming 2008 National Hockey League Draft in Ottawa, Ontario. London Knights Kevin Montgomery, Patrick Kane, Rob Schremp, Danny Fritsche and Danny Richmond have participated in the World Juniors for Team USA in the past 5 years.
