Petes' Season Comes to An End in Oshawa

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes made their way down the 115 and 401 on Saturday night for a must-win game against the Oshawa Generals. Despite out-shooting their division rivals, the Petes fell by a score of 4-2 as the Generals took the Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series 4 games to 1.

Zach Gallant (1, 2) scored shorthanded and on the power play. Declan Chisholm and Ryan Merkley assisted on the power play marker.

Hunter Jones made 27 saves for the Petes. Final shots were 39-31 for Peterborough.

The Petes were 1/2 on the power play and 5/7 on the penalty kill.

Final media availability will take place in the north west corner of the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Sunday, March 31 at 12:15pm.

The Petes now turn their attention to the 2019 OHL Priority Selection scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 6. Peterborough holds the fifth overall pick, four picks inside the top thirty, and seventeen total picks across fifteen rounds.
