Pelicans Birthday & Anniversary Party Postponed

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans will release single-game tickets for purchase as planned today from 4:30 pm to 7pm at the Pelicans Box Office. Online ticket sales will also be available as planned beginning tomorrow at 10am. The 80th Birthday Party for the City of Myrtle Beach, a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the team's 20th year on the Grand Strand, and all other activities originally scheduled for this evening have been postponed until Thursday due to weather.

Admission to the March 15th Birthday & Anniversary Celebration is free and gates open to TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark at 4:30 p.m. Throughout the evening, fans can enjoy music, $1.00 Bud and Bud Light drafts, $2.00 craft drafts, and 1/2 price Duplin Winery wines until 7:00 pm when the event concludes. The Pepsi Grille will be open serving your favorite ballpark items. Additional entertainment includes:

- Free slices of birthday cake will also be available (while supplies last)

- Play catch in the outfield

- Kids run the bases

All Pelicans season seat members (full season, partial season, and mini-plan holders) will still be able to pick up their ticket packages tonight, March 12th, beginning at 4:30 pm or during Thursday?s celebration. Any questions should be directed to the Box Office at (843) 918-6000.

Single-game tickets will be available for purchase during normal box office hours following the event.

Off-season box office hours are 9:00 am. to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 10:00 am. to 2:00 pm on Saturdays beginning March 31st.
