Peddy Joins Mystics

Washington, D.C. - Washington Mystics Head Coach Mike Thibault announced that the team has signed guard Shey Peddy who was with the team during this year's training camp.

Peddy was selected in the second round (23rd overall) of the 2012 WNBA draft by the Chicago Sky. During her senior year at Temple University, she was named the 2011-12 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. She spent the 2018-19 playing in the Euroleague where she averaged 15.2 points per game and 5.3 assists per game.

Washington suspended Emma Meesseman and Kim Mestdagh who returned to Belgium to fulfill their commitment to their National Team. Following is the current Washington Mystics roster:
