Panthers Sign WR Trevon Alexander

Bay Area Panthers News Release
The Panthers have signed a multi-skilled athlete with the addition of former Northwest Missouri State wide receiver Trevon Alexander.
"Trevon is a talented ball winner and playmaker. He is smooth, subtle, and explosive, which allows his effortless burst to catch the defense off guard as he puts on the gas when going vertical," said Panthers Head Coach Rob Keefe.
Alexander began his career at Northern Iowa as a defensive back and cracked the starting lineup as a redshirt freshman. He transferred to Northwest Missouri State during the COVID pandemic and shifted to wide receiver. In three seasons, Alexander caught 76 passes for 1,179 yards. As a senior in 2023, he had 31 receptions for 441 yards and 8 touchdowns. His potential led to a pro day at Northern Iowa and a minicamp invite with the New York Jets before ultimately signing with the Panthers.
"If the staff is this energetic and really believes in me, why would I not play for someone who truly sees the potential in me?" said Alexander of the Bay Area coaching staff. "They have my best interest at heart and see a professional football player in me. The energy the team brings to the table is what really attracted me and the type of people that are employed there."
