
Panther City Lacrosse Club Duel the Saskatchewan Rush

The Panther City Lacrosse Club (1-4) heads north of the border for the first time to take on the Saskatchewan Rush (1-4) at Sasktel Centre in Saskatoon, Saturday, January 29, at 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
Coming off the first game-winning goal in franchise history, rookie forward Patrick Dodds currently leads the club with 20 points, including a team-high 13 assists. Panther City got the win despite missing the team's scoring leader, forward Phil Caputo, who looks to add to his team-leading nine goals as he returns to the field.
In goal, Kevin Orleman has continued to turn aside shots at an impressive pace, saving 76% of attempts faced. He currently is averaging 9.98 goals against average, the sixth best mark in the league.
On the other side of the field, Mark Matthews leads the Rush with 24 points, dishing out 16 assists and scoring eight goals. Robert Church heads the Saskatchewan scoring efforts with 11 goals.
The matchup will also pit brothers against each other, as Panther City transition player Travis Cornwall squares off versus Rush transition player Jeff Cornwall.
