Pacific FC Signs Kunle Dada-Luke
Victoria, BC - Pacific FC's latest signing is a right fullback Kunle Dada-Luke. The 21-year-old with Canadian and Nigerian citizenship will join the club for the 2021 season.
"Dada is a player with great potential and the physical attributes to play a modern game," said Pa-Modou Kah, Head Coach, Pacific FC. "I'm looking forward to him joining us and continuing his development."
Dada-Luke was signed by the Canadian Premier League's Atlético Ottawa in 2020 where he joined the team after an impressive walk-on tryout. After a season with each Toronto FC II and III, Dada-Luke was picked up by Danish club FC Helsingør. It was with that club that his coach saw his potential to move from right-wing where he had spent his young career and play on the backline.
Standing at 5-foot-9, Dada-Luke is known for his speed and ball control. He was just 14 years old when he made his debut in Canada Soccer's Men's National Youth Program and later went on to represent the country's Under-17 team with two appearances at the 2017 CONCACAF Men's Under-17 Championship in Panama.
Dada-Luke was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario but has Nigerian citizenship through his parents.
