
Oramas, Missions beat Frisco 4-2

The RoughRiders fell 4-2 Friday night to San Antonio from Dr Pepper Ballpark as Juan Oramas struck out ten batters over six scoreless innings.
The Missions took the early 1-0 lead in the third on Jaff Decker's RBI double that scored Blake Tekotte from first base.
Adding to their lead, San Antonio picked up a run in the fifth and sixth innings on Decker's second run-scoring double andAndy Parrino's solo blast in the sixth.
Following Parrino's RBI single in the seventh, the 'Riders finally broke through on Mitch Hilligoss' single that brought home Elio Sarmiento who tripled with two outs.
Following Jonathan Greene's sacrifice fly in the eighth to cut the lead to 4-2, the 'Riders failed to tie things up as they stranded runners on second and third with two outs.
Neil Ramirez made his Double-A debut for Frisco Friday night, his first start since July 15, working two and a third scoreless innings and striking out three. Ramirez had been placed on the disabled list with shoulder fatigue while with Triple-A Round Rock.
The 'Riders and Missions will play game two of this four-game series Saturday night from Dr Pepper Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 and will feature left-hander Ben Snyder for Frisco against right-hander Simon Castro of San Antonio.
