Omaha Beef News Release

RALSTON, NE - With training camp officially beginning on March 4th, the Omaha Beef Football team announced additional players for the upcoming season. Beef coaches believe the trio will have an immediate impact in 2019

TREY DUDLEY-GILES:

Trey Dudley-Giles, a defensive back out of the University of Massachusetts, played for the Salina Liberty in 2018, where he earned first-team all-league player honors in the CIF. "When a player with this much talent and caliber comes around, there's no way you can let him walk out the door," Omaha Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator Marvin Jones said. "We're extremely happy that he decided to play for the Beef as he shares our desire to win a championship". Dudley-Giles piled up stats in 2018, where he was second in the league with ten interceptions to go along with 46 solo tackles and 11 assists. Dudley-Giles also delivered as a kick returner, as he averaged over 16 yards per return.

MATT FINNIN:

Matt Finnin out of the University of Nebraska, will be an indoor rookie this season, but will be hard to miss. The former Husker offensive lineman comes in at 6'7" and 305 pounds. "Matt is a physically dominant player at a position that is often over looked in this sport," Billy Sonnemaker, Offensive Line & Special Teams coach said. "Our guys up front open the holes for the running backs and provide our quarterback the time he needs to make his reads and throws. When Matt committed to playing for the Beef, I had a huge sigh of relief. He will make my job easier".

The Omaha Beef kick off their historic 20th season Saturday, March 16th at the Ralston Arena when they host the 4 State Fusion. Season tickets are still on sale for just $99.00 and come with a punch card for a free promotional giveaway item at every home game.
