Ocean 100, Eastlink to Bring Fans Playoff Action

May 7, 2021 - Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) - Charlottetown Islanders News Release

Despite the Maritimes Division Final being played in Shawinigan, Quebec, Charlottetown Islanders fans will be able to experience the 2021 President's Cup Playoffs in their fullest form thanks to excellent collaboration between the staff at Centre Gervais Auto in Shawinigan, Universum Media, Stingray Media, and Eastlink Community TV.

Ocean 100 will be carrying all playoff games live across the airwaves as George Matthews, Cory Arsenault, and special guests bring you all the action starting with Game One on Saturday afternoon with the pre-game show beginning at 4:45pm Atlantic. This continues a long tradition of Ocean 100 broadcasting Charlottetown's run to the President's Cup, as this will be the fifth season in a row that all games will be broadcasted live (including the 19-20 season where the playoffs were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic)

Eastlink Community TV will also be carrying all first-round playoff games live on Channels 10/610. As fans have experienced all season long, they won't miss a second of the live action from Shawinigan.

Finally, fans will also be able to purchase the games on QMJHL Live, the league's online webcast. Universum Media, the production team behind all Charlottetown Islander home games, will be producing the action from Charlottetown. Fans will be able to listen to George Matthews and Cory Arsenault live on the webcast with a full pre-game preview show and intermission reports.

Game One of the Maritimes Division Final between your Islanders and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan gets underway Saturday afternoon at 5:00pm. There are still tickets available for our Playoff Viewing Party at the PEI Brewing Company; be one of the first 50 people in the building tomorrow and receive a FREE 2021 Playoff T-Shirt!
