TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR NHIAA BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Four HS Championship Games Scheduled for Saturday, June 12, at Merchantsauto.com Stadium

Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, and the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA)today announced that tickets for the 2010 NHIAA State Baseball Championships, presented by E & R Cleaners, are on sale now exclusively through www.nhfishercats.com . Fans can purchase adult tickets for $8 apiece, plus online processing fees, for the four New Hampshire High School Baseball Championship games scheduled for Merchantsauto.com Stadium on Saturday, June 12. Tickets for both students ($6) and adults ($8) will be available on game day -Saturday, June 12- beginning at 9:00am at the Fisher Cats Ticket Office. All seating is general admission.

"We are pleased to add the online ticketing component to our long-standing partnership with the NHIAA for the championship games at Merchantsauto.com Stadium," said Fisher Cats President/General Manager Rick Brenner. "Hosting the best Granite State high school players competing for four championships on one day is a tradition we are proud to be a part of."

This will be the fifth consecutive year that the Class S, M, I and L championships will be decided at the home of the Fisher Cats and the second straight season that all four games will be played on one 'Super Saturday'. The NHIAA Championships get underway with the Class S final at 10:00am, followed by the Class M championship game at 1:00pm, the Class I title tilt at 4:00pm and the Class L final under the lights at 7:00pm.

"The NHIAA is once again excited about playing the baseball finals at Merchantsauto.com Stadium," said NHIAA Executive Director Patrick Corbin. "The relationship between the owners and especially Fisher Cats management has afforded our players a truly unique and memorable experience in baseball."

The Fisher Cats take on the Portland Sea Dogs in game two of a four-game weekend series at Merchantsauto.com Stadium Friday night at 7:05pm. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Jon Lester Bobblehead, courtesy of Quirk Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Volkswagen. For tickets, visit www.nhfishercats.com or call (603) 641-2005.
