
New Jersey Devils Pre-Season Schedule Set

Newark, NJ - The New Jersey Devils six-game, 13-day pre-season schedule will include hosting one game in each of their development cities: Mon., Sept. 17 vs. Philadelphia at Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ; and Wed., Sept. 26 vs. the NY Islanders at Paul E. Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA. Both games will get underway at 7:00 PM. The announcement was made by Devils' CEO/President/General Manager Lou Lamoriello.
Five of the Devils' six pre-season contests will take place against Atlantic Division rivals, including Fri., Sept. 21 at the NY Rangers, and Mon., Sept. 24 at Philadelphia. The club will take on the NY Islanders on Sat., Sept. 29 at Bridgeport, CT. New Jersey's lone out-of-division match will take place Thu., Sept. 20 vs. Boston at Manchester, NH.
The Atlantic Division Champion Devils will open their new home - Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey - on Saturday, October 27, when they host the Eastern Conference Champion Ottawa Senators at 7:00 PM in a rematch of last season's conference semifinals. New Jersey will open its 26th season with a franchise-record nine-game roadtrip, beginning Thursday, October 4 at Tampa Bay.
