Portland, Ore. - The on-ice portion of the 2021 Neely Cup continued Friday, the penultimate date in four straight days of competition. Team Hill earned the top seed, securing their spot in the Championship contest Sunday morning. Team Iverson and Team Ludvig will meet at 9 a.m. tomorrow to start the day, with the winner moving to the 11:30 a.m. finale.
The three teams, named after Winterhawks alumni Adin Hill, Johnny Ludvig and Keegan Iverson, filled with roster hopefuls are competing against one another at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Please note, game format consisted of a 40-minute running clock period, then followed by a ten-minute three-on-three. The winner of the 40-minute period receives three points in the Neely Cup Standings and the winner of the three-on-three session earns two points in the standings and any ties earn one point each.
