Mystics to Hold Fourth Annual Post Game Auction

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Mystics and Sibley Memorial Hospital will partner once again for the fourth annual breast health awareness auction to be held following the game between the Mystics and the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday, August 28. Tipoff is at 4:00 p.m. at Verizon Center. Proceeds of the auction will benefit the Sullivan Center for Breast Health at Sibley Memorial Hospital. Sibley is the team's official healthcare provider and the presenting sponsor of the Mystics' Breast Health Awareness Game. Mystics fans are encouraged to support the initiative by wearing pink clothing to celebrate the day.

In celebration of the Breast Health Awareness Game, the first 4,000 fans to arrive will receive pink bags courtesy of Sibley. Breast cancer survivors will be seated in the Survivor's section compliments of Sibley Memorial Hospital. Following the game, fans will have a chance to bid on numerous sports experiences including game-worn pink Mystics jerseys. In the last three years, the Mystics have raised over $125,000 for the Sullivan Center for Breast Health at Sibley.
