More Seats Added for Eastern Final

Montreal, November 12, 2002 - The Montreal Alouettes have great news for their fans: the "Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal" has just approved a project that will allow the Alouettes to add 2,125 new seats for the East Division Final at Olympic Stadium on November 17, 2002.

This means that 2,125 tickets in the "silver" category will be on sale as of tomorrow, Wednesday, November 13, at 9 a.m., for $43 plus administration fees.

"We're thrilled to be giving the chance to more football fans to live the atmosphere of Alouettes' football," said Alouettes' President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ellis Prince. "Furthermore, the profits of the sales of these tickets will be donated to the newly formed Alouettes' Foundation which supports education and minor football throughout Quebec."

Tickets for the November 17th East Division Final were put on sale on October 2. More than 7,000 tickets were sold in the first hour and they were virtually sold out after only three days, a record for a sporting event in Quebec, and maybe even in Canada.
